This event also is posted with Charmin Canines.
After a hard week's work, our pupsters and us deserve to wind down and kick off our weekend. Come join us for a casual Yappy Hour at Camp Ilene.
What is a Yappy Hour? Yappy hours are a new trend that is becoming increasingly popular--it's a chance for dogs and their humans to schmooze/sniff, indulge in some hors d'oeuvres/treats, lap up some libations/H2o and kick back/kick up some dirt. :D I'm going to try to get hold of some Bowser Beer (made specially for dogs . . . ). And some pupcorn for them to munch on. Humans will have some sort of Mock-tail . . .
If the first Yappy Hour is a success, we will schedule future ones. I chose a Friday evening for our first one, but we can have them on other nights also.
Don't feel you have to be there at 4:30. Come later and hang out with us. We will be going until around 6:30.
Camp Ilene is a doggy day care, boarding and grooming facility. She has a fenced area in front that is grassy and separate from her day care doggies. I don't think sun will be a problem, but she does have a long porch with a covered roof.
Please remember to bring chairs since there are no benches.
Besides the fact that my dog was attacked by one of the dogs that I think was boarding at Camp Ilene when I got there, I thought Theresa did a great job setting up the table of goodies at her own expense! I hope we can do that again, sans the bitey drama. :(
